Jeffrey J. Smith

President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Smith is a co founder of DirectCash and has been employed as the President and Chief Executive Officer since inception. Mr. Smith brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and operations at senior levels.  In 2005, Mr Smith was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. (Prairies Region)
 

Brian Kathol

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kathol received a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1981 and 1984 respectively, as well as a Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1988. Mr. Kathol joined DirectCash in 2011 and brings with him over 25 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial management and business analysis which he gained through various positions held in leading finance teams in public and private corporations. Prior to joining DirectCash, Mr. Kathol held positions as Vice President of Technologies and prior as Vice President of Finance and Administration at Enersul Inc., a private sulphur processing corporation.

Todd Schneider

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Schneider holds a B. Admin from the University of Regina and joined DirectCash in 2007. He brings 18 years of operations and senior level sales experience to DirectCash’s business lines. Before joining DirectCash, Mr. Schneider held a series of senior posts at DHL Express Canada and Mayne Logistics Loomis. With DHL Express, Mr. Schneider served as the Area Director for the Prairies Division and oversaw the full P&L operations of this $100 million division. He also previously held senior sales roles as Director of Sales, Western Canada, and National Manager, USA Sales.

Joseph Xu

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Xu has been with DirectCash since 2001. He has over 17 years of experience with information technology in financial, telecommunications, public services sectors. Mr. Xu has significant experience in software development and database management, project management and leading technology teams.

Prior to DirectCash Mr. Xu worked for IBM Singapore as well as various other software and technology companies including one of China's leading wireless telecom companies. 

Mr. Xu holds a Master of Science Degree from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
